When was the last time you consciously touched a leaf? From a tree? Have you noticed how soft they are?
I walked home from a very boring exhibition opining on Friday night and suddenly I felt this intense urge to touch this beautiful tree, to touch one of it´s leaves and I was surprised and exhilarated to feel it´s amazing softness ….
It was a moment of intense happiness to realize how beautiful and full of life these trees are. In the midst of the Friday night drinking and partying crowd those tress just stood there, being trees and everything around suddenly appeared very shallow and unreal ….
It made me a bit sad though when I realized that I probably touch my iPhone more then I touch anything that is alive …. Time to change that.
